A primary eyeglass frame or an auxiliary eyeglass frame are both included in the eyeglass frames having a hidden magnetic attachment structure. The bottom portion, bridge, or each hinge of the primary eyeglass frame is provided with a groove. At least one magnetic article is placed in the groove, and the bottom of the magnetic article is provided with a pad. The auxiliary eyeglass frame has a reverse U-shaped block attached to it at a certain point, the bridge, or either end, and at least one magnetic eyeglass frames component is attached to it in each leg portion.
You’ve probably observed that the hinges on glasses are the same place where they constantly break. We need a method that reduces tension while pulling the temples, a solution that hasn’t been researched or created in this market, to prevent breaking the eyeglass frames. MagLeg is a revolutionary breakaway mechanism that uses built-in magnets in the frame to enable unfettered leg movement and reduce stress. The magnetic strength can be adjusted to strike a compromise between the breaking point of the plastic material and a secure fit of the glasses (i.e., pressure against the user’s temples).
The Invention’s Field
This invention relates to an eyeglass device that has a primary eyeglass frame and an auxiliary eyeglass frame. More specifically, it relates to an eyeglass device where the auxiliary eyeglass frame has been supported by it and engaged with the primary eyeglass frame with a hidden magnetic attachment structure to maintain the eyeglass frames’ attractive appearance and to increase the lifespan of the magnetic particles of a magnetic attachment structure.
What the Related Art Is About
Because eyeglasses and sunglass pairs are separate, a myope or a hyperope must always have both a pair of near-sighted or far-sighted eyeglasses as well as a pair of sunglass pairs on hand in case they need to wear sunglasses. Carrying and switching out a pair of sunglasses or a pair of eyeglasses is highly troublesome. To avoid the inconvenience, a secondary eyeglass frame that may be connected to a primary eyeglass frame was created.
Claims
1. Eyeglasses with a hidden magnetic attachment structure include: a primary eyeglass frame having a groove formed in a portion thereof selected from a location consisting of a bridge or each temple extension, at least one magnetic article is provided for each said groove, and a pad is provided at the bottom of the each said magnetic article; and, an auxiliary eyeglass frame having a reverse U-shaped block disposed at a location corresponding to the primary eyeglass frame.
2. The eyeglass frames having hidden magnetic attachment structures described in claim 1 are formed of magnetic material, as are the magnetic articles in each groove and each leg section of each reverse U-shaped block.
3. The hidden magnetic attachment eyeglass frames as described in claim 1, where each magnetic article’s north and south poles are positioned substantially horizontally.
4. The hidden magnetic attachment structure for eyeglass frames as described in claim 1, where each said pad is comprised of iron.
5. The hidden magnetic attachment eyeglass frames as described in claim 1, where each magnetic article has a high magnetic pull.
