Who is Yoriichi in Kimetsu No Yaiba?
Yoriichi Shienzuka is a gifted youjo who was the third to join Ryuho’s party. She hails from the village of Senritsu where she performed as a solo youjo for many years. In fact, Yoriichi — or “Yorie” as she’s often referred to — has been fighting off youkai for nearly her entire life. Even though she hasn’t been able to convince her parents to let her leave the village, this strong-willed girl has left on many adventures in search of stronger prey.
Returning to Senritsu for the first time in many years, Yorie instantly recognizes the layout of the village and realizes that it’s changed a lot. The only person she knows from her childhood is now a highly skilled youjo with a respected title. However, she learns that he has been gone for some time and soon finds out why — Ryuho has finally returned to Senritsu! And it seems as though he brought Yoriichi along too…
